Students apply for UT Martin's Honor Band Festival

Last December, 11 Fayette Academy band students applied for the University of Tennessee at Martin’s 36th Annual Honor Band Festival. On February 22, 2015, nine of these students selected by the UT-Martin Music Department traveled to Martin to participate in one of the UT-Martin’s 2015 Honor Bands.
These fine young musicians spent Thursday and Friday rehearsing several noteworthy musical selections with clinicians from around the country, and performed a splendid concert at the UT-Martin Fine Arts Recital Hall on Saturday, February 24.
