BCHS receives new flag from Whiteville donation

“We saw that their flag was beaten up and worn so we thought we would give them a new one,” James Spencer, U.S. Army CSM (ret) said in reference to the new American flag being donated to Bolivar Central High School (BCHS).
The flag was donated by students from the Whiteville Kindergarten Class of 2003. Students from the 2003 class were present for the presentation of the flag, along with teachers and the principal from that class. BCHS principal Jeff Barnes was joined by some BCHS students to receive the flag for the school.
