Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse signed the proclamation on Tuesday making September 26, 2023, Imagination Library Day in Hardeman County.

Since Hardeman County took on the project in 2006, the county has mailed over 153,000 books to children, and currently sends 1,129 books each month to children in Hardeman County, paying half of the funds with the parent organization paying the other half.

Hardeman County was recognized as the #1 county in the state for the percentage (96%) of appropriately-aged children reached by the project.
