Battle of the Unbeatens

Middleton’s Middle School Girls Basketball team defeated Bolivar 41-28 on November 15 in a battle of undefeated teams.

With the win, Middleton advanced to 8-0, while Bolivar’s record dropped to 6-1.

The teams will meet again at Middleton on December 13, but will not meet in postseason play as Middleton and Bolivar are in different TSSMA Classifications.

In other action on Monday night in Middle School basketball, Whiteville split with Fayette East, winning the girls game 40-36, but dropping the boys contest by a 44-41 score.

Whiteville will host the Hardeman County Middle School tournament December 6 and 9.
