The Season that Almost Wasn’t

The Bolivar 12U league ended the season with a pick-up game as captains chose the teams.
Team Baker, captained by John Baker took advantage of poor fielding by Team Zawacki in the second inning and won going away by a 10-3 score.
Jayce Clutter got the start for Team Baker and allowed just two runs in the first two innings to earn the pitching win. Devin Woods, who gave up only one earned run of the six he allowed, took the loss.
The 8U and 6U leagues are scheduled to complete their seasons on August 6.
