The Hickory Valley Mayor/Board meeting was held November 4. Two items of business were discussed. The annual audit is underway and Christmas lights will be installed immediately after Thanksgiving. The October minutes and current financial reports were read and approved. Attending were (l to r): Mayor Rickie Ayers, and Aldermen Noel Toney, Dwayne Lax, Philip Jaynes and Ivie Hobson. Alderwoman Jane Powell was not present.
