Overtime Gets the Tigers...Twice

For the second game in a row, Bolivar Central managed a comeback to force overtime, but in each instance, faltered in the final stanza.
“At this point, I’m tired of us just playing hard,” said Head Coach Rick Rudesill. “It’s seems like we are always playing catch-up and reacting. We need to execute.”
On December 17 versus Jackson South Side, Bolivar twice tied the game late, in both regulation and overtime, but couldn’t hold off the Hawks in the 87-78 loss that came in double overtime.
On December 13, D.J. Smith made a late three to tie the game at 66, but the Tigers fell 79-74 to Sacred Heart.
Bolivar’s Lady Tigers split their two games, winning 64-39 versus Sacred Heart, but falling 100-72 to Jackson South Side, despite getting 36 points from Hailey Hardaway.
