Land Judging Team Advances to State

The Hardeman County 4-H Land Judging team of Cole Eubanks, Lily Reid, Daniel Hedwall and Connor Emerson took home top honors at the Western Region 4-H Contest held on the campus of UT Martin back on October 3rd. Freshman Connor Emerson took home top honors as high scoring individual for the region. Daniel Hedwall and Lily Reid also placed in the top ten.
This win allowed the team a chance to compete for top honors at the State 4-H Land Judging Contest held on October 30th at the Milan Research and Education Center. Twelve teams from all across the state took part in the event. The Hardeman County team finished the day in 7th place with Daniel Hedwall earning the high score for the team.
This team was coached by former BCHS Ag Science teacher and FFA advisor, Mark Avent and current Ag Science teacher and FFA Advisor, Aaron Gibson.
