Bolivar Hears Bypass Plans Again

The success of the Improve Act discussion at the May 11 Town Hall meeting with State Representative Johnny Shaw led into one of the largest Coffee Talk meetings the Chamber of Commerce has had with the Bolivar by-pass at the center of the discussion.
Due to future revenue from gas taxes, local and community leaders have suggested that it’s time to again visit the subject of a bypass that would take tractor-trailer and those merely passing through out and away from the downtown area.
