Hospital Wing/Hardeman County Contract Signing

Hospital Wing Air Medical of Memphis will land on the square May 16 at 6:00 p.m. to announce the renewing of the Hardeman County contract. Mayor Jimmy Sain signed a contract with Hospital Wing his first year in office to cover every citizen in Hardeman County. This contract means that any county resident that has to be transported to a medical facility by Hospital Wing will have no "out of pocket expenses".  Sain stated, " I am very proud to obtain air medical service for our citizens. Being 60 miles from a major trauma center requires a faster transport than by ambulance. As a commercial helicopter pilot, I have had the privilege of flying with and knowing many of the Hospital Wing pilots and crews. They are very dedicated to their profession and saving lives. They are an extension of our county EMS. There is no doubt in my mind, the helicopter has saved lives."
Everyone is invited to attend the presentation. Mayor Sain would like to extend a special invitation to anyone that has been flown by Hospital Wing and they will be recognized. A tour of the helicopter and Hospital Wing give aways will be provided.
