USA Championship Wrestling returns to Bolivar

A near capacity crowd was on hand at the Bolivar armory on Friday, Feb. 19 for a night of action from USA Championship Wrestling with a five bout card that featured some wrestling legends, an up and coming tag team, and even a hometown wrestler.
The event was called “A Royal Celebration”, and featured Jerry “the King” Lawler, “Superstar” Bill Dundee. “Grand Master Sexay Brian Christopher, The Starr Twins, and “the Mid South Prodigy” Bam Bam Bundy, also known as Grant Hatton of Bolivar.
According to Bert Prentice, owner of USA Championship Wrestling, Bolivar is one of his favorite towns to come to.
“The crowds here never let us down,” Prentice said.
The evening started with a “Triple Threat Match, featuring Dell Tucker, who defeated Addison Cane and Chase Britton.
The second match featured Dundee and Kevin Zion, who defeated the team of Alex Taylor and Bundy.
