Spencer pleads guilty in landfill theft

Le’Curnita Katreese Spencer, 29, of Whiteville, a former employee at Hardeman County Solid Waste, pled guilty to one count of theft of property $1,000-$10,000 on Monday, Jan. 11, and was ordered to pay costs plus restitution of $3,070. Spencer was also sentenced to two years in jail, which was suspended.
