Judge lowers Harbin's bond
Hardeman County General Sessions Judge Boyette Denton has lowered the bond on the Boliver man accused in the shooting death of his son’s boyfriend on Jan. 8.
Jammy Harbin, 46, appeared on court on Jan. 12, where his attorney, D.J. Norton, made the request. Judge Denton stipulated that if Harbin does make bond, he is to wear an ankle monitor.
Harbin is charged with second-degree murder after the shooting death of Timothy Smith, 31, of Monroe, Louisiana. Smith was shot in the chest at Harbin’s home in the 700 block of Lafayette Street.
Harbin is now held on a reduced $100,000 bond.
