No injuries in New Year's eve accident

 A two vehicle accident on Thursday, December 31, at the corner of Hwy 64 and Vildo Rd., backed up traffic for several minutes on Hwy. 64 just after 6 p.m.
    According to the police report, a 2002 Chevrolet pickup driven by Buddy Harrell, 26, of Savannah Tn, was traveling west on W. Market St., and hit a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by Roy Black, 21, of Bolivar, which was traveling south on Vildo Rd, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. Black was cited for failure to yield. There were no injuries.
