Pettigrew honored by committee

Former Hardeman County Commissioner Vann Pettigrew has been elected as the Honorary Chairman of the Hardeman County Spring Lake Committee.
Pettigrew, who was a Commissioner for 18 years in the 70s and 80s, was on the original Spring Lake Committee in the 70s.
“Mr. Pettigrew worked tirelessly during the early concept stages of the lake development and he has a lot of knowledge of the project’s history. I want Vann to be with us during this historic economic accomplishment for Hardeman County,” said Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain.
Sain will serve as the chairman, and Anthony Landreth will serve as vice chairman. Other committee members are Commissioner Jim Daniel, Commissioner Chris Bell, Commissioner John Vickers, Hickory Valley Mayor Richard Ayers, John Clark, Michion Gatlin, and Jim Pierce.
