Local church groups aid Loaves and Fishes

The Grand Junction Baptist and Methodist Churches held their annual combined Thanksgiving worship and dinner on Nov. 22. A special offering was received that evening by the youth groups of those congregations. On Sunday, Dec. 6, the groups joined in shopping at Walmart. They purchased and delivered $429 in items needed by Loaves and Fishes.
