More than 2000 attend Bolivar parade

The 2015 Bolivar Downtown Christmas Parade “A Winter Wonderland was a huge success, with more than 2000 people attending the parade, which featured 45 participants, including three bands, and nine floats.
As always, the parade began with a lineup of Hardeman County emergency vehicles, followed by this year’s Grand Marshall, Ken Savage, and Celebrity Grand Marshall, Ronald McDonald. Before the parade, Judges Jimmy Sain, Hardeman County Mayor, Kim Sain, Mayor Sain’s Wife, Joe Jones, Mayor of Toone, and Ricky Ayers, Mayor of Hickory Valley judged the nine floats, and presented trophies to the top three floats.
Third Place went to Whiteville Correctional Facility, with the theme “Frozen”. Second Place went to Anderson Tractor and the Hardeman County Arts Council with the themes “Cinderella”, and “A Christmas Story”. First place went to Pine Meadows Healthcare, with the Theme “Past Memories”.
