Checks in the mail

How many times have you heard or maybe even made this statement. Yes, the checks in the mail. I’m referring to Duck’s Unlimited statement about the ducks this year.
Duck’s Unlimited statement: Be patient, they (ducks) are on the way. my response to that statement: “Bah-Humbug.”Not saying by any means that ducks are not on their way, just saying I know where they’ve been imprinted to go.
Ducks are put on Earth for one purpose—for us to enjoy. We pay for em, but others reap the pleasure of our hard earned money. I will be very humble if I’m proved wrong, just don’t think I’ll be served a piece of the pie. Here on the upper Hatchie, if something‘s not done about our situation very soon, the upcoming generations of duck hunters will suffer way more than we are today.
