County breaks ground on new EMS building and fire station

The Hardeman County Ambulance Service, in a joint venture with the Bolivar Fire Department broke ground Wednesday, November 4, on a new building, located at the corner of Hwy. 64 and Lucy Black Rd., which will serve as the new headquarters for the Hardeman County Ambulance Service, as well as a second fire station for the Bolivar Fire Department.
“This is great for the county, and should have been done a long time ago,” Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain said.
Bolivar Mayor Barrett Stevens echoed those sentiments.     
“This is a good thing and will help everybody in the county,” said Stevens.
