Aliens present in Grand Junction?

Alien brains? Grand Junction resident, Carolyn Moss, awoke Halloween morning to find strange growths in her normally neat, tidy yard. “They were huge! I’ve never seen anything like them before,” she said.  It’s obvious they were planted in her yard by a strange, foreign being in hopes she would accidentally or perhaps, even, purposefully touch them. At that time they would invade her body, take over her brain, and wreak frightening havoc on the city. After all, it is the time of year when ghosts and ghouls abound in hopes of capturing the unwary. Thankfully, Moss didn’t come in contact with the strange beings. Do you have a better explanation?
