Big Buck Resort holds first annual Halloween Hoedown

Big Buck Resort, located on Sparks Road near Hornsby, TN., held their first annual Halloween Hoedown on Saturday, October 24.
The event, which was open to the public featured a chili cook off, vendors, plenty of food, games, a petting zoo, a giant slide, hayrides a costume contest and trunk or treating.
“I love harvest festivals, and just wanted to do something fun and wholesome for the kids,” Big Buck Resort owner, Tina Garrison said.
The chili cook off winner was Linda Wynn. The children’s costume winner was Melia Velez, who was dressed as a ladybug. The adult costume prize went to Suzie Cole, who was dressed as a kangaroo, complete with a real baby kangaroo in her pouch.
