Fire claims life of Bolivar resident

A fire reported shortly after 10 p.m. Friday night, October 23, at 100 Moma Addie Way just off Walton Rd., claimed the life of 54 year old Teresa Birdsong.
According to reports, the fire was reported at about 10:10 p.m., and Bolivar firefighters made the scene at about 10:23 p.m. A short time later, a call was made to Whiteville fire department and the Hardeman County rescue squad for assistance. When Firefighters were able to enter the building, they discovered one victim, Birdsong, and got her out of the house, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
