Arrests made in recent shootings

Bolivar police have made arrests in three separate shootings that occurred during the month of September.
According to investigators, the first shooting occurred on Saturday, September 19, on Johnson St. in East Bolivar. After making the scene, officers determined that the suspect, Zedequis Hardy shot at a vehicle. Officers recovered shell casings at the scene, but there was no reported damage to the car, and there were no injuries reported.
Hardy was later arrested, and charged with aggravated assault. According to Bolivar Police Chief Pat Baker, at the time of this shooting, Hardy was out on bond for another shooting which occurred at Millennium Market on Market St.
The second shooting occurred on Sunday, September 20. According to the report, officers responded to the Bolivar E.R., in reference to a subject with a gunshot wound. Investigators assigned to the case arrested a juvenile suspect later that day, and charged him with attempted first degree murder.
