Hardeman County youth gather for United Weekend

A total of 110 students from four Hardeman County Baptist churches gathered at First Baptist Church                  (FBC) in Bolivar for the first United Weekend.
According to Chris Moore, Youth Pastor from Bolivar FBC, students from Bolivar FBC, Parrans Chapel, Dixie Hills and Hornsby gathered at Bolivar FBC Friday September 25, through Sunday, September 27, for worship, Bible study, and missions outreach.
“This is something that we felt God lead us to do over the last eight months,” Moore said.
Students attended worship services and Bible Study on Friday night and Saturday morning. The Bible study was led by Brian Richards, of Shreveport LA. Richards is an Adjunct Professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He spoke on how to better serve God.
“The theme for this weekend is when we serve other people, we are able to show them the love of God,” Richards said.
