Toone mayor recognizes town employees

Toone Mayor Joseph Jones recognized all of the employees of the Town of Toone and presented them with a gift card during the regular Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting on Tuesday, September 8, at Toone city hall.
 “I wanted to show my appreciation to all of the town’s employees for their hard work and their dedication to their jobs in the town of Toone,” Jones said.
In other business, the board approved allowing Toone Fire Chief Jack Santos to spend up to $400 to purchase a formal fire department uniform to wear at official functions.
