Lightning struck a tree at 707 Naylor Street twice during last Wednesday’s thunderstorm.

Lightning strikes twice at Bolivar residence

Johnny Nelson, resident at 707 Naylor Street in Bolivar, said lightning struck his tree in his yard twice on Wednesday, September 9,  during the thunderstorms that hit the county.
Nelson said the lightning struck the tree on one side, causing the limb to fall through and break the window in his home, and then struck the same tree on the opposite side.
No one was injured during the damage.
