Readers choose Hardeman County Guide cover

For the first time since The Bulletin-Times has brought the Hardeman County Guide to the residents of the county, readers were able to vote on their choice for the 2016 Hardeman County Guide cover.
Originating from the concept the Guide is Your Guide, the staff at The Bulletin-Times opened up readers to submit photos they had taken in the county for consideration for The Guide cover. After receiving numerous entries, the staff narrowed the Guide cover options down to the top seven and then let readers on social media vote for their favorite.
Photos representing an array of interests in the county as well as different seasons were presented to the readers. Sarah Rice, Brenda Foster, Liz Vaughn, Julie Gowler, Lauren Drewey, and Michelle Vaughn all submitted photos that were considered for Guide covers.
Winter photos portraying horses galloping through the snow, snow covered roads, county courthouse and trees at St. James Episcopal Church were among others featuring The Hatchie River, Whiteville Dam, and Neal Place during the APTA Tour of Homes.
Congratulations to Julie Gowler for her photo at Neal Place during the APTA Tour of Homes last year being selected as the cover for the 2015-2016 Hardeman County Guide.
