All four industrial boards from across the county came together for training and to begin working together. The training was the first time all four boards have met together and Mayor Jimmy Sain said he hopes it will be the beginning of a continued partnership between the boards.

Industrial Boards come together

For the first time in the history of Hardeman County, industrial boards from the county and various towns and cities within the county, came together to learn how they can work together, improve their chances of obtaining industry, as well as how they impact each other. The boards met for training at the Bolivar Municipal Center on Thursday, August 20.
“Hardeman County is unique in the fact it has four industrial boards. It is very important that they communicate, train and support each other in order for the county to be successful in recruiting new business,” Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain said. “This was the first time they have all met together with professional training. I believe this was the start to a very professional and successful relationship between the entities.”
