Lorene Lipford, age 91 of Bolivar, passed away Tuesday morning, July 7, 2015 at National Healthcare in Somerville.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 10, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar with Rev. Josh Clark officiating. Interment followed in Hebron Cemetery.
The widow of Samuel Oliver Lipford, who died February 7, 1977, she was the food service supervisor of the Dietary Department at Western Mental Health Institute for over 25 years. She was born October 10, 1923 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Jacob Wesley McAlpin and Bessie Baker McAlpin and was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County.
