Sovereign Grace Baptist Church holds community day

Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, located at 2835 Enon Ln. in Bolivar, held a community day, on Saturday, May 30, in an effort to get to know neighbors in their community. The church, which is led by Rev. Joe Sherman, was established in 1983, and the small congregation met in the pastor's home until recently. The church did not let the rain spoil their day, moving the event indoors. There was plenty of free food, games, and entertainment by Elvis impersonator  Brian Lee Howell.
