Southern Focus Photography Contest May 26 – June 7
The Hardeman County Arts Council Southern Focus Photography Contest will be held May 26 through 27. Open theme - all entries welcome. Numerous awards and ribbons will be given. There is an entry fee and maximum five entries per person. Students K-12 – up to two entries is free.
All entries must be delivered to the Hardeman County Arts Council, 1580 W. Market St. Bolivar on Tuesday, May 26 from 9 a.m.-noon. (If special arrangements are needed please call 376-0850. (No late entries will be accepted!)
Entry Rules: All entries must be original - Nudes will not be accepted - All entries must be framed and ready to hang - Size Limit 20 X 24 including frame - Each entry must have two identification cards attached to the back with the following information; Name - Address - Phone Number - Email Address - Title - Sale Price or be designated “ Not for Sale”- “Student” should be indicated on all K -12 entries - 20% of the proceeds of any sale(s) will go to Hardeman County Arts Council.
The photography exhibit will be open to the public “free of charge” at the HCAC Arts Center Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. p.m. May 26 thru June 7. It will also be on display for all performances of “Rex’s Exes” June 5 – 7.
They invite you to frame your best photos and enter the contest or just come by the HCAC Art Center and enjoy the exhibit. We anticipate another “Great Show” depicting a variety of landscapes from around the world, beautiful flowers, wildlife and maybe even an insect or two. The talent and interesting subject matter captured on camera by our local photographers is always amazing!
