Bolivar boys tennis team finish regular season perfect
The Bolivar Central High School boys tennis team finished the regular season with a perfect record after a 7-0 win at South Side on Monday, April 20, and a 7-0 win at home against Adamsville on Tuesday, April 21.
In Monday’s match against South Side, Bolivar was 5-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
In singles action, Landon Harris defeated River Scoggins 8-3, Jake Wilson defeated Dalton Roe 8-3, David TerBurgh defeated Max Brown 8-0, while Braxdon Frost and Luke Ormerod won by default.
In doubles action, the team of Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeated River Scoggins/Dalton Roe 8-0, and David TerBurgh/Braxdon Frost won by default.
In Tuesday's match against Adamsville, Bolivar was 5-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
In singles action, Landon Harris defeated Cody Trumble by forfeit, Jake Wilson defeated Cameron Gramse 8-3, David TerBurgh defeated Kerby Harville 8-0, Braxdon Frost defeated Peyton Surratt 8-2, and Luke Ormerod defeated Jared Harvill 8-0.
In doubles action, the team of Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeated Cody Trumble/Cameron Gramse 8-1 and David TerBurgh/Braxdon Frost defeated Kerby Harville/Peyton Surratt 8-2.
The boys finished the regular season at 10-0 (6-0 in district play). The team of Landon Harris and Jake Wilson will represent Bolivar in the Boys Doubles Bracket, which will begin on Friday, May 1, in Union City, along with the individual tournament.
