
Over 50,000 will die

According to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), over 50,000 people will die this year from colorectal cancer. It is the second deadliest form of the disease. Generally known as colon cancer, over 135,000 individuals are diagnosed with it annually. Ninety percent of these victims will be over 50 years of age. When detected in the localized stage, there is a 90 percent survival rate.
