Skinner Tabbed for Health Outreach

Hardeman Healthy Outreach, a five-year program that ended this August, will continue the outreach with a new leader.

With the new round of CDC funding and addition of six counties to the University of Tennessee Extension project, a new facilitator for the H2O steering committee was needed.

Sara Skinner, who works as Administrative Assistant and Central Supply Manager at Bolivar General Hospital, was named to the position. Sara is a graduate of University of Memphis where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.

Sara started with West Tennessee Healthcare in the transcription department and transferred to Bolivar General Hospital in 2006. She has facilitated many committees at Bolivar General such as Patient Experience, Patient Family Advisory Committee and the Diversity Committee. Sara leads the Alzheimer’s Caregiver support group in Hardeman County. Sara also serves as a member of the Family Support Team.
