Sain signs with UU after accident threatened future

It was a day just four years ago Jon Sain and his parents feared may not be possible. Sain, a dedicated student athlete, who had golf on his mind and Union University as a goal, faced the possibility of never playing golf again after an accident threatened to take one of his fingers. Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) graduate Jon Sain achieved his dream of signing to play golf for Union University on Tuesday, July 29, but not before he and his mother sat in an emergency room four years earlier with doubts about what the future held. To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.
