County honors local business that has unusual ties to One World Trade Center

It is a story that will make you proud to be a Hardeman County resident....to be an American.

On Tuesday night, May 19, Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain honored and recognized employees at Thyseenkrupp for their patriotism shining as bright as the lights at One World Trade Center in New York City. An employee at Thyssenkrupp packed something more than an elevator to workers at One World Trade Center....he packed an American flag.

In next week's edition, learn how this American flag made a round trip from Middleton to New York City and back...with some extra baggage, after Thyssenkrupp completed its contract to provide elevators and escalators for One World Trade Center.
