Stevens Honored at Pleasant Run

City officials along with City of Bolivar employees were present for the Grand Opening of Pleasant Run Creek Park on Friday, August 11. Mayor Julian McTizic began the ceremonies alongside former Mayor Barrett Stevens in front of the recently renovated old Hardeman County Jail Chapel that is now being used as restroom facilities at the park. Pleasant Run Creek Park has 170 acres of scenic views, walking trail, a small stocked fishing pond, and disc golf; with plans for expansions that include picnic tables and a possible arboretum walking trail.
