Middleton Board approves first reading of new beer ordinance

The Middleton Board of Aldermen held and passed the first reading of a proposed new ordinance regulating the sale, storage, and manufacture of beer in the city. The new ordinance will repeal and replace the three previously passed ordinances under which beer sales are currently regulated. The board requested the new ordinance be reviewed by City Attorney Tom Minor prior to its second reading.
