HCAC presentation of 'A Christmas Story' a success

The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) presented another successful production, with the completion of a three night run of “A Christmas Story” Friday, December 4, through Sunday, December 6.
The show, adapted by Phillip Grecian is based on the movie of the same name, which was based on the Jean Shepherd memoir “In God We Trust (All Others Pay Cash), is the story of young Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas presents, A Red Ryder BB Gun.
The show featured a cast of 16, with a total of 12 speaking parts, and also, according to Gene Sipes, one of the set builders and back stage hands, one of the biggest and most difficult sets ever built for the HCAC stage.
