The Senior Consumer Decision Making team from Hardeman County placed fourth in their competition earning them a chance to compete at the state contest in Knoxville on October 17. The team was composed of Katie Harris, Allie Bromley, Hope Cody and Jacob Bryant. Hardeman County had two of the top ten high scoring individuals with Katie finishing in fifth and Jacob ending up 10th. They were asked to rank items in four separate classes: Jeans, Headphones, Cereals and Home Cleaning Products. Oral reasons were presented in defense of their placing in the jeans category. The team also completed a group think activity where they were given a scenario and brainstormed ideas to complete the task given. Congratulations to all of these 4-H members.
