Grand Valley Women’s Club undergoes name change

At its May meeting, the Grand Valley Lakes Women’s Club changed its name. It is now officially the “Grand Valley Lakes Ladies’ Club”. New officers for 2015-2016 were installed. Lona Coffee is the new president. Wanda Culver is the vice president, Joanne Wilson is secretary, and Louise Watkins is the treasurer.
Coffee presented Ann Castleman and Christine Buccitti certificates of appreciation and yellow rose bouquets for their service as officers of the club for several years. Castleman served as vice president and Buccitti was the club’s secretary.
The Yard of the Month award program has begun for 2015. It will continue through October. The award for this month went to Jeannie Ferri and Angela Quinney. Gelene Keithly and Ann Castleman are members of the selection committee.
