Grand Valley Lakes Women’s Club holds annual bean supper

The Grand Valley Lakes Women’s Club held its annual “Bean Supper” Saturday, March 7. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund various projects the club is involved in which benefit the community.
Approximately 65 people were present to enjoy the fellowship as well as a variety of beans, from white to pinto to navy. Accompaniments included slaw and cornbread of both traditional and Mexican style. Desserts were either homemade cookies or cakes.
