Grand Valley Ladies Club nominates 2016-17 officers

 The Grand Valley Lakes Ladies Club held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 2. After routine reading and approval of minutes from both the December and January meetings, President Lona Coffee introduced new member, Cherri Ware.
An important item on the agenda was announcing the nominating committee’s selection of officers for the coming year. The slate presented was Lona Coffee, President, Brenda Walker, Vice President, Joanne Wilson, Secretary, and Louise Watkins, Treasurer. There will be an opportunity for members to make additional nominations at the club’s March meeting followed by the election.
Hospitality Committee members, Ernie Kelly and Nancy Burke reported giving welcome packets to two new residents. Kelly and Burke are currently updating the list of service providers in Hardeman County and are obtaining cards from local businesses to add to the packets.
