Grand Valley Ladies Club members take time out to treat themselves

Tuesday, Dec. 15, the Grand Valley Lakes Ladies Club took time off from community activities. The evening was dedicated to treating its members to a gourmet meal, good fellowship, and great entertainment. The party was organized by Joanne Wilson and Ernie Kelly with assistance from some other members. Twenty members attended the event along with their guests.  Pictured (l-r): Don McAlpin, David Pulse, and Lee McAlpin, life-long residents of Hardeman County and widely-known musicians provided the music for the Grand Valley Lakes Ladies Club’s annual Christmas Party which was held on Tuesday, Dec. 15. These members of the 10-O-C band had the crowd toe-tapping with some well-known rock-a-billy selections. In between David Pulse stories and their performances, the trio had the audience join them in an upbeat sing along of Christmas carols.
