County wins ATV from Southwest

Southwest Human Resources Agency received two ATV’s in the Good 360 program to give away and Hardeman County was the recipient of one of those ATV’s.
After receiving two, Southwest placed the name of each mayor in their eight county region in a drawing and Hardeman County and Decatur County received the ATV’s.
The Yamaha 400 received by Sain on Friday, September 11, will be housed at the Hardeman County airport and will be shared between the airport, Sheriff’s Department, and Rescue Squad. It will also be available to any other county department which needs it but will primarily be used by those three departments.
“The airport will keep it and house it. They will use it to go around and spray the lights,” Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain said. “We were fortunate enough to get one. Southwest does a lot for us. Hopefully it will save someone’s life one day.”
