Civitans Get Their Jamboree On

The Middleton Civitan’s held a Western Jamboree April 29, at the Middleton Community Center. The worldwide mission of Civitan International is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
The Middleton Civitan’s mission is no different. With several small fundraisers throughout the year; funds go towards buying dictionaries for local third graders, building ramps for those with wheelchair needs, and throwing birthday parties for those with developmental disabilities and others.
