Christmas Season Begins in Hardeman County

Cities in Hardeman County kicked off the Christmas season with parades and holiday shopping.
Christmas Season Begins in Hardeman County in the Best Float Competition at the Bolivar Christmas Parade on December 4. The parade ended at Santa’s Village, where Christmas trees and other holiday goods were sold by local vendors. Santa’s Village will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m. until Christmas.
The City of Middleton spent Saturday getting in the holiday spirit with their first ever Christmas at the Crossroads event on December 2.
Local vendors selling a variety of homemade gifts, clothing, ornaments, door hangers, jewelry, and other items were set up at the Middleton Community Center as a one-stop shop for citizens to complete all their Christmas shopping in one place.
The City of Middleton will hold their annual Christmas Parade on December 9 at 6:00 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be taken at the Middleton Library that same day from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
A float from the Fayette Corners Church of God in Christ participated in the annual Whiteville Christmas Parade on December 2.
