Bird Dog Foundation Dedicates Wall

When the State of Tennessee gave the portion of land at the intersection of Highways 57 and 18 to the City of Grand Junction, Grand Junction Mayor Curtis Lane already knew what would be done.  On September 1, state and county officials, members of the Bird Dog Foundation and others who joined the celebration, took part in the Bird Dog Capital of the World Wall Dedication.
For over two years Gary Lockee, Co-founder of the National Bird Dog Foundation, had been persistently making efforts for some sort of commemorative type wall. The wall is dedicated to the dogs, including four dogs who each have won the national championship title four times, their owners and all those who are dedicated to and participate in this sport.
