$8,481 raised at Relay for Life Celebrity Waiting event

While the tables were decorated with very different themes; to name a few was a luau table,  denim table, turkey hunting table and a fire department table, the theme of the event was remarkably uniform.
“Were here to raise as much money as possible to combat cancer,” said Johnny Davis. “Tables are decorated by local businesses with different themes and it’s a lot of fun but mostly were just here to raise as much money as possible." Mr. Davis had acted as master of ceremonies for another fundraiser in Middleton a few nights earlier.
Music played and local “celebrities” waited the tables. Fire chief Lyyn Price was one such celebrity “I'm just here to try and do as good of a job as possible while I wait tables so that, maybe, the better of a job I do the more people will tip.” Syrena Flowers the Relay for Life Community Manager said “this is a great opportunity to bring these teams together” and she was “so thankful” for the generosity shown by these local philanthropists.
