Whiteville Winter Fest ends with parade

The City of Whiteville held a Winter Fest on Saturday, December 12, in downtown Whiteville, featuring music, food, a magic show, a visit from Santa Claus, and culminating with the annual Whiteville Christmas Parade.
The day started with a free magic show featuring the husband and wife team of Richard and Maudie Seaton from Henderson, Seaton has been doing magic since he was nine years old, and has been performing for the public for about 10 years.
There was also live music, a DJ, plenty of food for sale, and the evening ended with with the 2015 parade. This year’s float winners were:
